EHS Teacher in Training in Volusia County, FL

Have you always wanted to work with children, but just don't know where to begin? Mid Florida Community Services is here to help you earn your Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and provide stable employment working in an Early Head Start classroom. Canidate myst be willing to register for an Infant/Toddler CDA program after 45 days of successful employment. Canidate must successfully complete the CDA coursework and receive a CDA certificate within one year from date of hire and submit all necessary requirements to obtain the CDA certificate.

 

Position Summary: Responsible for supporting day-today operation of the EHS classroom while obtaining CDA credential. Responsible for assisting the EHS Teacher with guiding and directing the learning experiences for infants, toddlers, and two year-olds by assisting in providing a developmentally appropriate learning environment.

 

Requirements

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: No experience required.

Licenses & Certifications: Valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable by Company’s current carrier. Subject to Federal, State and Local legal requirements/background checks/clearance for working with children. First Aid and CPR certified.

 

Compensation

Wage: $9.72/hr
