The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hernando County is seeking to hire a Part-Time Therapist to provide evidence-based, trauma-specific therapeutic treatment (examples include TF-CBT, PCIT, AF-CBT, CFTSI, EMDR) to children and non-offending caregivers who have been victims of child abuse. The therapist will utilize assessment tools that include psycho-social assessment/screening scales, trauma symptom checklist, and CFARS/FARS. The therapist will develop treatment plans that include long term and short-term measurable goals.
JOB STANDARDS:
Education: Master’s in a related mental health field. Has demonstrated relevant experience in trauma-focused mental health services. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred.
Experience: Two years of experience in related mental health field.
Part-time Therapist up to 10 hours per week, flexible schedule, must include some evening
